FIRST FLL Regional Qualifier Competition, December 13th or 14th, 2014, Moses Lake

Volunteers are needed to help with the FIRST FLL Regional Qualifier Competition in Moses Lake on December 13th or 14th, 2014. If you are interested, check out the attached flyer for more information.


JCON15 – Call for Speakers and Sponsors

The Eastern Washington Section of SWE will be hosting JCON15, the region conference on Friday, April 10th to Sunday, April 12th, 2015. We are currently searching for Speakers and Sponsors for the conference. Please refer to the website for more information:

Highlights from the Region J Council Call, October 6, 2014

Region J Leadership Pipeline Mentoring Program

Are you interested in learning more about leadership positions within SWE?  Region J is offering a mentoring pogram within SWE for those who would like to become a SWE leader.  Please contact Susan Young if you are interested.


High School Engineering Course

Are you interested in teacching a high school engineering course for a semester?  Please contact  Alice Orrell if you are interested in participating.

Chief Joseph Science Night – November 6th, 6-7:30 pm

Please join us in this interactive science night where it engages students with hands on activities and presentations from local businesses and community organizations. This year's theme: How we use STEM in the community, businesses, and manufacturing. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Come join in the fun!
